Are Hiatt 2105 with a blank central circle USA made?

You know how usually hiatt speedcuffs have writing in the middle like UK DES APPL and some numbers? Well I have seen American modern ones have lovely nice branding on the double strand and the central circle is blank. But if all goes well, I shall be getting a pair of 2105 (black Hiatt speedcuffs) and the central circle is blank but the double strand has seemingly no modern-looking nice branding. Would they be American made?

I am wondering if after a US company acquired Hiatt, did they acquire a bunch of pre-manufactured models that they took with them and just applied new grips which lack the information in the middle, perhaps?

I am just trying to understand why a normal looking pair of 2105 would have a blank central circle like I see on the handcuff warehouse's US models?

Would you be able to supply us with a picture, please, so we can see what you are referring to?

Ok, i can see now what you are talking about. Unfortunately, its not a question that I can answer for you. Im not sure how Hiatt changed their logo placement when they moved their production to the U.S. I can say that Hiatt did bring over the old stock to the U.S. when they moved here though. I have a darby combo set that has leg irons stamped as Made in The U.S.A. connected to handcuffs that say Make in England.

Very interesting. My theory ism after having seen modern Hiatt 2105 and their circle looks the same, my theory is these might be old stock cuffs with new grips. I am expecting to see HIATT ENGLAND stamped on the metal after I take the grips off. If that is the case then I have to decide do I put them in the British box with the rest of the cuffs because the cuffs themselves are UK made? Or do I put them in the USA box because they seem to have come (back) from the USA even though they were made in the UK to begin with?! lol. Not sure. I put Chicago handcuffs in the USA box, even though they are made in the far east. I have a "Far East" box, but I do not feel they are right to live in that box. I might have to put them in the USA though because of the visual indicator of having a blank circle.

Put them in a box marked , made of metal and plastic.

That would be exceedingly disorganised. A little box for the few metal and plastic, a gigantic heavy box of everything else.
