It's supposed to be a ''Ganzua'' ( ? ) for Hiatt Type Cuffs but I can only assume that it's a type of Key .

It's Called a ''Ganzua'' for Hiatt type cuffs . ( ? ) Any ideas? But of course you do! Silly me! No doubt this key can ruin more Cuffs than it can open!

 It is an escapist key for a Darby. Insert into cuff a few  turns then push down on the long part
of the lever. This will pull the bolt up enough to release. Suppose to be quicker then turning a key 
far into the cuff.

 It will not hurt the mechanism, works best if the key threads match the cuffs threads. 
Some times the key is tried in other cuffs than Hiatt. The cuff will probably be
scratched where the lever pushes down on the cuff.
