Peerless 300

I have the model 300 which was made around 2001. The lettering seems to be laser engraved, but I'm not for sure. Does anyone know when Peerless stopped using a press to mark the cuffs? 

There are 8 different versions of the Peerless Model 3 handcuffs. The last 3 versions saw the addition of the stamp that reads "Model 300." Version 6 was the last to have an actual stamping done on them. Versions 7 and 8 both have the laser engraving, like your cuff has. This is just an educated guess, but the stamping was stopped somewhere between 1998 to 2000. Hope that helps clear that up a bit.
