I obtained this a couple of months ago -

From what I understand, it's a 1990 model and they sell models dating from 1970 and 1955 listed above this on the site.
However, are any of these *very* different from the contemporary model?Â
https://cuffsland.de/english/france.html#R3045 - I feel like that these older models are more worthwhile for me in the sense that I'd be using them and not exactly a fan of shelling out more if they're the same as the contemporary model!
Kinda confused here...but I do love my 1990 model!
Among main french handcuffs :
- Before WW2 : nippers, chains + padlocks, "Presto - Lyon" (1922), La Policière (a 1930s copy of 1924 Bockin), bagno shackles, and so on ?
- WW2 : German models or similar shape models
- 1940s-1980s : "Sureté Nationale" 1948, 1955, 1972 and 1980 ; "La Massenotte" ; "La Pégy" ; SNA ...
- 1985 : Manhurin 1985. With different engravings for Police Nationale or Gendarmerie Nationale. Plus the clone "Innotec spécial Police".
- 1990 + 1994 : "RPF"
- After 2000 : Rivolier, single lock, push-button lock or two locks, engraved 2001, 2002, 2004, 2008 and more... With some legirons. And another brand, GK Pro (using standard US key).

But, are the ones in the link very different to the ones that are sold by other sellers which are seemingly newer?
This is the promised picture. Some models from 1990-1994, 2000 and post-2000 era.
The bows sound similar, the plate reinforcing is more marked, and the swivels have changed to a conical shape.

So they're all basically the same then huh? nice photo!
