Small Cuffs

I found this photo while browsing and it looked interesting.  I've seen a few cuffs that were small and intended for female or juvenile use, but these seem even smaller. Comparing the inside diameter of the cuff to the man's thumb you get an idea of how small they are. Does anyone have any information on them? There was nothing on the page where I found them.

They're simply standard-size "Bean-Giant" handcuffs.

Seeing the thumb next to them - gave you the visual-misperception that these were "tiny" in size. 

Joe is 100% correct and the name Bean Giant is very misleading as these are some of the most compact cuffs you could ever hope to handle and were made rather famous through Houdini’s sensational escape from them.

I had to do a double take on this one.
I thought it was a John Bushey miniature for a moment before I realized that the photographer's thumb was almost up against the camera lens and threw the picture out of perspective.

Speaking of John. I just ran across this picture, again, the other day. I thought I would share since his Miniature Bean Giant was mentioned.

Thanks guys. I was fooled by the perspective of camera to subject. Even so they, look small and probably unusable on anyone with large wrists.  I'd bet they were uncomfortable to wear for any length of time.

I'm going to go out on a rather thin limb and make a wild assumption that you had a friendly assistant remove those!
