Bean Cobb Leg Irons

Just curious. Does any one else have a set of Bean Cobb Leg Irons with the swivels on the clevis, like mine? I didnt realize this may be an odd pair? I was having a convo with another collector and he pointed it out to me. Just getting a feeling for any others out there. Thanks!

I think you are on to something there, I just took a look at mine and there is no swivel coming off the clevis but of course the handcuff models have swivels.

Richard, I have three pairs of Bean Cobb's that just have the date (pre H & R) and two pairs that are H & R's.  None of them have a swivel.

This makes me wonder if someone ordered them with the handcuff clevis from the factory so they would have a swivel to keep the chain from binding up? They are the same size, shape, etc. My set has not had the pins popped out, to swap them, either. The chain has not been cut and welded outside of the factory.
