Seeking current values on handcuffs

I’m attempting to gain some knowledge regarding the value of many sets of handcuffs that were collected by my late godfather. They are not for sale at the moment, but likely will be in the future. I need help deciding how much to ask for them.

You are right to be cautious about offering cuffs for sale without knowing their worth, and you may be trying to get the best deal to liquidate a deceased estate. The simple answer is, it is only worth what someone is prepared to pay. An auction site like ebay is a perfect example where you may get more, you may get less than you might expect and I believe you can search past sales to see prices. I know the Gill Cuff is very collectable, but it is not in my area of interest. The big collectors would already have one and the new collectors might not have the money. You can post each cuff on here and hopefully someone who has bought one recently can give you a current price. There are a few more recent prolific collectors here who could help you with prices if they wished and seasoned collectors who already have them but know the prices. Prices vary greatly based on condition and whether they have a key and work properly. Good luck.
