These were made by Hiatt and were made of a cast alloy metal.
I believe 1975 into the early 80's.

The best thing about these is that they were featured in the movie, Titanic, when Jack was secured to a steam or water pipe.
Only those in the know would notice that these are not the cuffs used in 1912.

eRestraint started up in 1999.  Seems like for a few years we were able to get these and the nickel plated versions of the adjustable handcuffs and leg irons.  Not sure if they were importing or if he got the tools and dies but Chuck Thompson distributed them.

In fact we still have some examples, new old stock, if anyone is interested.
