A USA HIATT 2103 with a British style TCH840 grip with HIATT branding?!

Hello there.

Even the handcuff warehouse only shows the 2103 with the old style original British 2103 grips. But the picture looks genuine. The middle of the TCH style grip has HIATT on it.

If anyone has any insight on this I would appreciate reading.

It's a Hiatt Cuff with a Hiatt grip made by TCH.
Some cuff grips might be old stock, some might be new.
I don't see any problems here.
The serial number has been ground off suggesting it had been in police use, but looks new.

PS have you asked Handcuff Warehouse?
Of course it could have been swapped by the previous owner.

I sent an email to Hiatt/Safariland but never got a response. I think it would be a bit weird if TCH were making modern grips with their former (and sold to the US) branding. A bit weird. They were in use by 1 UK force according to the seller that I trust for the right info. But it is an odd sight.

Hiatt Handcuffs Limited currently has the following address listed at Companies House:

C/o Tch(uk)limited, C/O Tch(Uk)Limited 111-115 Baltimore Road, Great Barr, Birmingham, West Midlands, B42 1DN

I suspect TCH are manufacturing on behalf of Hiatt in certain circumstances in the UK.
