Bri-Field Handcuffs Design Change

When these cuffs were shown on here last and some of us were buying them for our collections, they pulled them from the market and said they were making a design change and going to release the Model soon. That was a few years ago? Since then I have seen that They make a knock-off from China and sell them in a variety of colors. I bought a set of the orange ones. A company name Nextorch from China is also selling the same design. Which, Nextorch just released a hinged version using this same key. I have one on the way to me. Has anyone here, heard anything more from Bri-Field and if they ever released the Model 2? I have heard nor seen anything from them. Just curious.

I'm pretty sure the Brifield version was made by the same company in China that now makes the Nextorch and unbranded versions. Brifield was just a brandname used by the original distributer.

From what I am seeing, it does not appear that they are distributing handcuffs any longer. But, it looks like the company that may have made the cuffs for them, sell under the name Nextorch, now and are located in China. If I hold my Nextorch cudffs next to my Bri-Field cuffs, they are identical and use the same keys, etc.

Good to know, thanks for clarifying! I only ever seem to see the Nextorch around these days :) so that makes sense!
