#1Hello! I was hoping that someone here would be able to help me identify a few handcuffs. The first I believe to be the blackened version of the H&R Super based on the visible makers mark. The others I'm less certain of, besides the last one possibly being a Tower brand model? I don't have access to the cuffs right now, so these pictures are all I have to go on, but any assistance is appreciated.

#2The fist cuff is a blued version of the 1930's 1rst Model of the Super 123 Handcuff by H&R. Not as many blued versions were made as the more popular nickel plated version, so this one would be a nice collectable to hang onto. The 2nd handcuff design in your pics is known as a "Darby." These were most commonly made in the U.K. There were a handful of makers that all essentially made the same handcuff. Without seeing what other stamps or markings may be on the cuffs, it would be difficult, if not impossible, to tell who actually made them. So, if you could follow up with a few pics of stamps and markings when you get your hands on the cuffs again, that would help us to try to identify it further for you. The last handcuff is indeed a Tower Double lock Handcuff. The design with the key hole on the side of the cuff's body and the 3 chain links connecting them, dates this set back to around 1879 - 1910. In 1910 The Union Hardware company took over manufacturing and selling the Tower Double lock design. The main change that they made was to change the center linkage to two swivels with a single oblong link between them.
