Are the keyholes on Chicago handcuffs too big?

Was thinking about buying a few pairs of Chicago handcuffs but the key holes look unnecessarily large and more prone to promoting easy picking. 

Any opinions on this 1?

Treat yourself to a set of x22 by chicago.

They are not an easy pick.

Chicago are very good quality and the keyholes are not overly large. If they are genuine Chicago, all the ones I have have nice tight keyways. But they still can be picked except the X22 model which I love.

how do the X22 size up to CTS Trimax other than price point and two bit keying?

looks like they both have similar designs with split rail protection etc

Tri-Max uses normal keys and can still be picked. X22 is higher security in my opinion. There's a Youtuber called Deadlocks who did an interesting bypass on Tri-Max. I love Chicago X22.

He shows the X22 being picked too but I actually didn't find the Trimax video from him if he has one.

To be fair.. 

When I think of picking, I think of what someone is most likely going to have on them when they're detained. I mean when you have a whole collection of picking tools available and custom shims you made.,

I think anything is pickable especially when you aren't wearing them behind your back while picking them... I measure handcuff security in my mind as to how secure they are when worn by 99.9% of your average every day detainee who isn't going to have access to any of these tools but maybe has a bobby pin or something flat that could be used as a shim..

SW window models now worry me seeing that video.. and so I still wonder... Who makes the most secure handcuff for every day field use..

I would still go with X22. Hard to shim, hard to pick. Anyone would have an easier time picking Tri-Max than Chicago X22. X22 is an absolute B**** because of the tight keyway and no "other side" keyway to attack. If I had the disposable money and time I would love a second pair of X22 just for home security in case someone breaks in.
