ASP SENTRY CUFFS

Just discovered these.. looks like ASP is claiming they tried to solve the chain binding issue.. 

Major security concerns are dual keyways enable picking, no extra resistance to picking and shimming, double lock might be vulnerable to SW window exploit discovered by coxyspicks, these cuffs are single pawl with just three teeth, and single action key turn releases both double and single locks making it perhaps easier to pick them?

Certainly not a whole lot of security thought was put forward into these cuffs imo. Interesting design and price point though.

They are made in Taiwan. They have a nice weight to them and a decent build quality, but in single lock, they are extremely east to shim open. They really arent that impressive. Personally, the s&W or Peerless that are about $10 less, are a more secure restraint than these are. This is just a low budget alternative offered by a big name company to keep up with their competition. Anyone looking for a set, Handcuff Warehouse has them for $35.

It's too bad. They look nice but I figured they were easy to compromise. You can just tell.

I was thinking about gifting these for Christmas. 

Are they secure enough for personal use? Not looking for something that can be broken or easily compromised but I like the aesthetics of these. I guess you can never go wrong with Peerless but I think ASP in general have to be more comfortable given their overall design.

Handcuff Warehouse is currently out of stock when I last looked, I wanted to buy a pair just for the aesthetics but also ASP don't ship to the UK, it's their distributor GMK who has never heard of the new Sentry model.
