If anyone would have any information on the Heinkel nipper/come along it would be appreciated. I know it’s German made most likely after WWll. I’ve searched and searched and haven’t found much at all on these. I’m mostly looking for the patent date, but any information would be nice. I just purchased one of these for my growing collection. #2I dont know much about them. I can tell that the one you just bought is missing a piece, tho. The slot in the jaw of the nipper that has the trigger on it, should have a plastic piece in it. The piece flares out and makes a pad to place your finger on. Sliding the switch (we will call it) causes the nipper to activate a "double lock" mode. It doesnt actually lock in place but as long as the switch is slid it keeps the trigger from moving, so the nipper cannot be opened. Here is a site that sold one some time ago that has pictures of what it should look like.
