What are peoples' opinions on this anyway?

They don't seem to have any cuffs for purchase so could just be a marketing ploy to raise brand awareness

well they have an order page. but i would be fearful to place an order. i seriously doubt they have produced anything for retail sale. there's no real proof they even manufactured a working concept.

Here's a response I just received from them via email.

We are active manufacturer, and right now we are switching from traditional steel processing to precise aluminum die-casting to meet RCMP requirements, and final products take longer time than we expected. Thank you contact Hulkkuffs Canada.

HulkKuffs sent me this by request yesterday

It looks like they are continuing development of this handcuff with the prospect of meeting new Canadian requirements and selling to Canada's RCMP

Questions: 

For challenge will police style cuffing be employed to picker's wrists?

Such as:

Hands behind back?
Palms facing outward/inward?
Keyhole(s) facing North/South East?
Thumbs pointing at each other  etc?
Will tax(es) be collected on winnings or free cuffs as doorprize?

Is anyone FROM HERE registering for the challenge?  -looks like if you register but later cancel, you'll still get the FREE HANDCUFFS doorprize mailed to you anyway?  -Is that worth it to get a FREE pair of cuffs?  

I would love to give it a go - but Canada is a long old slog for me to go. I'll have a play with them when they release them to the masses
