New guy with Japanese cuffs found in dumpster

Hello,

Trying to find some info on a pair of cuffs I found in a dumpster. Also amongst the trash was personal property of a veteran and army docs for land nav, first aid, Japanese language, a medal, shaving razor, baptismal record....
I suspect this gentleman was deployed to Japan in the 40's-50's maybe.

The cuffs have a weird key and say Mitaka Tokyo with a winged bird.

Google came up with nothing.

Unfortunately I do not have this exact style of cuff in my collection, yet. Im sure you had found out while looking Mitsaka, Tokyo is a city in the Western portion of Tokyo. So, the stamp with the eagle will not say anything about who actually made them. They are a Japanese style of cuff that was seen around 1940s to 1950s. So the soldier's personal wares and his deployment fit right along with these cuffs. My gut feeling is that that may be from either a maker named Maruisi or a maker named Manchu. Each of their cuffs have some similarities in design, key way, etc. Although, the ones I have found pics of are just a bit off in over length or shape, etc. Im hoping that someone else on here may have an example and can confirm what your cuff is.
