Thank you, everyone, for your congratulations! In my time on these boards, I have never seen one for sale, so I knew I couldnt let it go. I shot high and was very lucky. It would be great to find a heavyweight set, like Lars has, but that is another cuff that may not make its way off of my want list. Im very fortunate to have gotten the cuffs off of my want list that I have through the years.
Lars, to set the record straight, wasnt it Ian McColl who name the Luna Cuff? I had seen on another thread where you had said Ray had coined the name, and Ian had corrected you saying that he (Ian) was the one to name them. I was never fortunate enough to have met Ray or even had known who he was. A few great collectors came and went before my time. But, i have been able to meet a few great collectors of our time and for that I am very grateful.
Gordon, If i may, I can supply pics of your special set of Luna Cuffs. I was quite enamored with them, the first time I had seen you post them on here. Just gorgeous cuffs! The inner workings would be quite the sight to see, I am sure. Do you know any of the backstory to your set? Were they made as a keepsake or a gift of some sort?
