Keys for locksmith to have on hand?

Dear Forum Members,
What would be a good list of keys for a locksmith to have , in the event of a service call involving a pair of handcuffs?

Currently, I have a standard American cuff key, ASP High Security, S&W 104, Clejuso, and Yuil keys in inventory. Also, I have keys for Posey and Humane Restraint .

Granted, I'm still fairly new in the business (only owned my business just over a year), but I imagine that sooner or later, I'll get a call for a customer needing a handcuff key.

Am I missing any of the more likely / common keys, if so , what am I missing, and what's a good source?

Am missing a Benowi key, and a Clejuso #9 key, but not worried about it yet.

Don't have a storefront, and am mobile only at the moment.

Hello. 

..It depends where in the world you are living, but here in the States - I would suggest for you to add a so-called "Takeda" handcuff key...because the generic, cheap version of these "play handcuffs" are found in many novelty shops  (see photo).

Other (modern) keys that come to mind are:  S&W #94 and H&R Super....but I don't suspect the average household (except for the people here) - would own those; and the same holds true for the more common American "Houdini-era" handcuffs.

Carry a few good Shims too.

Good call, thanks. May need to look for S&W 94 keys, as well as H&R Super. I do have the Takeda key, as well. I appreciate the reminder.

Located in the Upper Midwest. Does anyone know a good source for S&W 94 and H&R Super keys, also the Clejuso #9 and Benowi keys? Handcuff Warehouse doesn't have either of the last two in stock.

Will also get some shims. Going to stick with the keys that I am most likely to need, at least for now, especially since I'm still starting out. Any other ideas are always welcome.

I certainly don't know all, and am here to learn.

In looking for Smith & Wesson Model 94 keys, these are what you need to look for to have a complete set.

Also, would a set of S&W 94 keys be worth buying, or is the juice not worth the squeeze?

I guess that question applies to all the keys, really.

I would carry a Parker Jotter Pen.

And buy a S&W Key, then modify it to TOOOL Spec.

Finally I would purchase the Stealthy Ducks from here :

That's all the common modern cuffs accounted for.

The older, more exotic ones will probably be a mechanical fault rather than a misplaced key.

Don't forget to keep on hand a set of "Ford Fleet Keys", in case a cop gets locked out of their squad car!

  ...and a ring of common paper towel & toilet paper dispenser keys for emergency use only!
