Williamsburg

Doing a bit of searching regarding Bilboes and came across a Museum in Williamsburg. The name rang a bell as back on 1975 P M Broach offered his collection for sale. I bought a couple of his handcuffs ( most had already been sold including his McKenzie mitts at $125!)
He offered 2 British Legirons LR45 and 46 as massive Williamsburg Legirons.
Does anyone know what they were and did anyone buy anything from his collection?

I'm very curious about LR 44, the solid brass British leg irons. Brass restraints are some of my favorites. I often wonder where these rare and unique cuffs end up and if they will be sold eventually again.

The Brass Legirons are now in my collection. The pair listed was bought by Stan and I bought them from his collection.
They were actually made by RCS and I only know of 3 that still exist. The description is misleading as the key is a normal type with internal threads. Think what he meant was the bolt on the lockcase was externally threaded.
I am currently in Marrakesh enjoying the Sun so
