McKenzie-Mitts on eBay for 3060,00 USD

Just looked eBay and found these McKenzie-Mitts for sale (read description) for 3.060,00 USD.

Same set keeps getting posted on eBay repeatedly. They even use the same photos but it’s always a different seller looking to sell them but not on eBay. I’m pretty sure it’s a scam. The post has already been removed. Ron J

It makes sense they try this type of scam over the holidays, where they hope very few people will be working in customer support and fraud prevention.
Shame on these people.
When in doubt, ask for an extra photo, for example with a pen or some random item in it.

Interesting. The seller has sold over 120.000 items, almost all positive feedback. And around 80.000 listed at the moment. I'm guessing the account was hacked , and this image was inserted with the photos of the McKenzie Mitts: "Only e-mail me at this address ...". Needless to say, don't mail this guy if you want to keep your money. The original account owner is probably not even aware of this.

The idea of the scam being high volume seller will not notice a few extra items. I'm guessing the scammers would also terminate the auction before it ends. It also says, "Do not bid!". Go figure.
