how do you remove peerless scratches

got a pair of peerless that are pretty surface scratched. nothing deep but definitely noticeable. i was thinking some fine grit sandpaper and a little elbow grease. surface cleaners arent going to work. maybe nothing will. just thought i would ask. i dont have a dremel or really any power tools to use on them. thanks.

not sure what sandpaper grit would work if any. might just scratch them more. oh well.

They would scratch to hell. Best I would recommend is polish them with Autosol. You could try some extremely fine stropping compound used to make mirror finishes on knife edges but it still may be scratched. Also remember those cuffs are nickel placed so too much abrasion to try and remove scratches and you will end up with a flaking finish and it will look a right mess.
