Your grouping of these cuffs by shape is interesting and I don't recall a discussion of oval shaped cuffs ever presented here before.

Here are some harder to find cuffs in this category that I picked up here and there.

I think cuffs like these which hold the hands horizontal can be both more comfortable and more problematic for "escape" which from a professional need perspective would be a good thing. It is a more comfortable position for the hand, especially for behind the back.

5-6 years ago, handcuffs and leg irons with an oval bracelet in French GK-Pro style began to produce in Russia. There are 4 sizes with a bracelet opening 60, 70, 80 and 90mm with a short chain (letter P), long chain (letter H) and a combination (letter K) of handcuffs and leg irons  are produced under trade mark "Ajur".
