Alcon Fury 15900

Hi all, I'm hunting for a set of these cuffs in fully working order. I,m in the UK and will pay a good price for a quality set.

There is an auction selling the same cuffs (I think) which are made of rubber and was supposedly used in the Harrison Ford movie Air Force 1.

The bloody shirt comes with the cuffs for a bid of $400 to start.

AIR FORCE ONE (1997) - President James Marshall's (Harrison Ford) Bloodied Shirt and Nuclear Football Handcuffs - President James Marshall's (Harrison Ford) bloodied shirt and nuclear football handcuffs from Wolfgang Petersen's Air Force One. President Marshall's shirt was bloodied and the nuclear football - which Major Perkins (Chris Howell) kept handcuffed to his wrist - destroyed during Kazakh terrorist Ivan Korshunov's (Gary Oldman) plot against Air Force One.

This lot consists of a white cotton Anto dress shirt with an opaque white button closure labeled "HF" and "Oct. 1996" on the interior and a pair of black rubber handcuffs connected via a metal chain link. The shirt exhibits intentional distressing by production with blood, sweat, and grime stains made throughout.

Estimate: $800 - 1,600

 Checked out the ones on Ebay they are the correct cuffs however they are in poor working condition. And seem to be in a terminal state

Be careful with those Alcyon like that, they have a crunching wheel in the front which is known to get the bow stuck, as it gradually wears from use. Seems to work well when new but the wear means the precision matching up of the pawl with the gear thing will mis-align in time and get stuck. I had a pair that did that and my current pair so far have seemed ok. That said, I have left them permanently double locked as a) I only have 1 key and b) I don't want anyone putting them on in case they do get stuck.

 thank you so much for that. Very helpful explanation, that seems to be exactly what has happened to my current pair so based on that I've given up on the Alycon cuffs and will co with the Clejuso nearest equivalent, Really appreciate your help and expert knowledge

PS I have a spare key that I no longer need and if you are interested I'll post it to you free of charge rather than binning it with my scrap pair of cuffs.

If you have the equipment, can you take the cuff apart and photograph it ? It would be a missed opportunity to just bin it.

Thanks for the offer but postage to Australia would be far more than curiosity of the inside of that particular model. Maybe someone local might take up your offer to add to the knowledge of other collectors.
