You all probably remember restraintsblog which documented notable auctions on eBay for future reference.

Since that blog became defunct and this forum being over run with political fighting, I find there is a void which I am attempting to fill.
I am putting a lot of time and effort into this blog and find it very rewarding. I update it regularly as auctions appear and finish, and add to my own pages when time allows.
I hope some of you will take a look. I will be continuing to add auction items and information about the items and examples, attempting to make this information accessible to both experienced and new collectors as well as the merely curious.
A further part of my blog details my own collection. My own collection is also detailed in earlier posts about Darby handcuffs and shackles from different periods in time leading up to today's reproductions of varying quality.
