Are you happy with yourselves?

I keep checking back to see if the madness finally ended. Wishful thinking at this point.  How is it that grown men find the time to come here every day to act like rotten, spoiled children? You've destroyed something that so many of us enjoyed.

If we were all in a room together, would you be too embarrassed and ashamed to act this way? You know that you would.

Yup. Shameful. First time I have checked the forum in many months. Very sad.

I don't have a huge collection of cuffs like what many of you have, but I show up here and there when I pick up a piece and try to learn what I can about them.
I think that all the political and religious postings go back to about 9 or 10 years.
Ian McColl was behind all or almost all of it as far as I can tell.
A few posts were responses about how his beliefs were not welcome here and some were pretty direct but with no vulgarities.
The posts back and forth became escalated over the years and now I see that almost every post he makes is met with an increasing amount of retaliatory posts and they seem to have started off politely asking him to stop it and get more verbally abusive over time.

It is a shame that this site which was the best reference site on cuffs anywhere has been dragged down to such childish behavior. There has been such a noticeable decline in the participation of the more knowledgeable folks here and sems to be only the smallest amount for real handcuff info. It has become about 99% rubbish with Ian McColl starting it and others responding to it.
He even has the audacity to blame others for the desecration.
I get the fact that the responders are trying to fight fire with fire, but it is getting uglier day by day.
I put 98% of the blame on Ian McColl for starting this, 1% on the site master for not curbing his creation from being so horrid, and 1% on the responders for trying to end it on their side. He or she are the only ones doing something about this.

The site master should really allow another or others to manage it since he obviously does not care what he created or just take it down altogether.
