#1The Plug 8 is one of my favorite cuffs. I have examples from five different companies plus a couple of unknowns.
The cuff at the upper right is similar to a Froggatt, but is unmarked. The "Australian" cuff came from a dealer in Tasmainia. It has a more modern appearance than the others. Unfortunately it has no markings. I also have several examples of the heavier "Boer" war type plug 8 cuffs, but I have not pictured them.
I would like to hear from others who have examples of standard Plug 8 cuffs made by other companies. If you have one please tell us about it. Post a picture if you can.
