Alfa Proj easy to open without key !!!

Hello I have 2 Handcuffs Alfa Proj (Ralkem) 9924 and 9927 and it is extremely easy to open without key. Many people say which are very difficult to open without key (This Handcuffs is open more easy than Smith & Wesson, Peerless or Hiatts). I am not an expert in escapology and yet I open them very easily same if it are double locked with one (Bobby Pin). If you asked (send me a e-mail) it to me I can send video of me to you which opens the Alfa Proj. Perhaps I have of broken Handcuffs?

It is very interesting, because I opened PEERLESS handcuffs at cca 10 seconds and with RALKEM I had problems, for their two pawls. For American cuffs one piece of vire is enough, they have only one pawl, but in case of Czech RALKEMs it is necessary to have two pieces to unlock both pawls at the same time.

It is possible to open double pawl handcuffs depending on the tolerances in the bow arm by first shimming one ratchet and then the other, alernating pulling force outwards as you do it.

Awkward, but on some double pawl cuffs this can be done.

@Steve: sure, opening the ralkems by pulling and then picking both ratches alternating is a known (the known?) way to open those, I also already did this a few times locked into them. But A.L. obviously found another one, as I'm quite sure nobody would call this method easy...

@A.L.: I saw your video, but could you explain in a bit more detail what you are actually doing after removing the double lock? How is your tool shaped, does it operate both levers independently or are you doing some trick with the push-part of the double lock? I have the old versions of both cuffs and I can't find a position where a simple shaped tool like it can be easily bent from a wire would operate both levers simultaniously...

Yes, this would be great to obtain more detailed description of the tool and the technique how to unlock both pawls. I tried this for a long time, but I was not succesfull, it was a great problem to lift both pawls together at the same time. And in case of old RALK this is even more difficult, they hold wrists in very near proximity and it´s great problem to insert a tool into the keyway and in addition to operate with the tool in the lock in order to lift both pawls (although they don´t have a double lock)
