Escape Convention and more!

I hope that everyone that is planning on coming to the Cannon Escape Con has made their reservations. If not, try to get it together quickly as the rooms at the special rates are going quickly. I procrastinated long enough and was told that there are only seven rooms left at the $99 rate.

I thought that I heard that some of us were going to be attending the Magic Castle on Thursday night. This somehow turned out to be a figment of my imagination. I can make this into reality if there is interest to do so.

First of all, if you are not familiar with the Castle, it is an old Victorian house that has transformed into one of the best venues to watch magic. It is not far from where the Convention is held and I am sure that we can get enough help so those with out transportation can attend. This side trip would be Thursday night at approx. 6 pm. The Castle is a private club for magicians and formal attire is required. (Yes, you will have to break out the Monkey Suits...suits and ties are a must unless you look better in a dress) Dinner is served and they have several no host bars. I know that some of you are coming from the east coast or even from other countries, so we don't have to stay too long as jet lag sets in. It is an unforgettable place and top name magic acts are performed there. I will find out who will be performing there this night and report it here. You might get away with it if you tell them that golden shorts IS formal attire down under.
They may make you wear a matching golden tie though.

I have tried to mail you but I only get server returns (Undelivered Mail Returned to Sender). I guess my mails are taken for spam. I have got the time table for flights to Los Angeles (San Diego was unfortunately too expensive) and want to discuss some details with you. What shall I do?
