Does any one have information on Martin's handcuffs? Are they worth the price? Would you consider them high security? I am interested in the ones that are close together like regular cuffs but with a bend in the bar. Do your arms get sore being held in this pecular position or are they comfortable to wear. Do the thicker bows cause discomfort or not?

i wouldn't call Martins rigid handcuffs as high secure. The locking systems is similar to Clejuso (Clemen Jung Sollingen, a german company) and works with keys of the same company. To get the double lock work you have to push a pin, which is flat to surface of the handcuff.
If you like to buy the handcuffs as a 'user' there exist cheaper solutions. At least they have some fetish aspekt in rigidness and metallic apearence. The Material is aluminium, it is not as heavy as it looks like.
To edge problem I cant make a proper statement. I own two Martin handcuffs both with a straight barr, one short and one long. Both Handcuffs a protypes an actuall the edges are a bit sharpe. I also have a Martins fiddle, which is from the normal productionline. The edges there, are much better worked out. In any case I would't consider even the handcuffs uncomfortable, or at least not caused by the matalwork, rather by there rigidness as the name says. The bow with the ratched has a with of 0,9cm. The contactzone to skin is therefore bigger as by the most standart handcuffs.
