#1I have a pair of Mattatuck handcuffs that were in an old 1840's Stagecoach stop. My Grandmother has owned the place for the last 30 years. These cuffs look a little older than the ones I see on this site.(Not quite as refined) I can't find a mfg or patent date on them, only the number 1 stamped on the underside of the hinge. Does anyone have an idea of age or value? They are not for sale as my Grandmother has given them to my husband for his b-day on 10-11 we are just trying to find a little info for him. THANKS, Sydnie
