Hi. I was not sure how many Handcuff.org readers there are who know about the Magiccafe.com web-site, but they have some very nice convention highlights and pictures too. They can be found under the "all tied up" index.

I was going to say that in every picture of the convention, you can only see happy and smiling people.....then came Ian's bolt cutter pic. It appears that he is ready for another session of toe cutting!
I hope to see more pictures soon. Kevin and Kristen took some video with a very professional camera. It would be a treat to watch some of that too.

Mark, I think I know the bolt cutter name you are refering to. Let me guess....it is not a very p.c. name, is it? I have a good friend in LA who introduced me to some colorful slang names and phrases when I came out for a visit some years ago.

Those that saw Elliot perform his Plunger routine at the convention witnessed an extraordinary act. I hope to see a video of it or a live performance again one day.
I am not sure if he participates on this site, but I know he has some nice cuffs in his collection and ought to check in from time to time.

Yes, Ian it was a riot. It really should have won the prize. I mean no disrespect to the other acts but Elliot's Plunger Act was the talk of the town for the weekend and will be one of the most memorable things about the convention. In 10 years from now, when someone asks if you were at Cannons Escape Convention Number 3, you will likely ask if that was the convention that had the plunger act in it. It probably lost due to the fact that it was not an escape act, but as far as entertaining, it was hands down the winner. I hope he does it again next year and takes his due winnings.

Thanks go to the Cannons for the chance to actually perform for you all. I had forgotten how fun it was to get such reactions. Given the venue I felt I had to give it a shot. There was no getting out of it, and as such, not an escape.

Had a great time seeing you all again and some for the first time too. Quite a collection of collectors we make.
