it might also be late 20th century! So "VICTORIAN" is not totally wrong - it could refer to Victory "Posh Spice" Beckham

These are reproductions made like in India or Pakistan in let say the no more than around 15 years ago or less. There are clues as to give them away:
The key is the first thing, all the reproductions I have seen of the junk variety have this type key.
Second thing I check is the swivel to see if it crude and was made from flat metal.
Third is the overall shapes and curves.
After you have seen several pairs up close and compared to the real item, overall craftsmanship on the reproductions is soo poor...

I wonder who the sucker is that has bid like 50 pounds on this junk?
