Str8-Cuff

I am sure that everyone who attended the Cannon convention this year has seen Ian's new Str8-Cuff (aka) "The Escape Artist's Nightmare". I would like to know if this is a "one size fits all" deal or if this has to be sized. I don't know about ya'll, but I am a good sized ol' boy, and I don't think that the one that is in the convention photos would fit me.

I would also like to hear some reviews about this cuff if anyone here has seen it close up or owns one. Thanks!

Hi Michael, the item is still too new for many to get wind of it. However several have been sold. The sample on at the convention trapped all escape artists who tried it unprepared. The cuff might need to be sized, but mainly for the fit to the upper arm. The wrist size seems to fit all who tried.

The Magic cafe escape forum is where you are more likley to get browers for escape equipement, the handcuff forum is more for collectors.

Ian, I know what you mean about this site being more for collectors, but I don't post on the Cafe' anymore....too many little kid games, trolls, and snipers for my taste. I know there are a few really good escape artists here, that's why I posted.

Ian, I had to post my wear event info over there because Clyde has not answered my e-mails for the last couple of months and my info needed to be conveyed to him whoever is in charge of this event. You see, even though I have been signed up for this event since August, I was never put on the web-site participant list. I spent time and money to be a part of the wear event and I felt that I should, at the very least, have my name added as one of the people who participated. I just did not want to be overlooked again.

Since PC has not acknowledged my presents since August, I had to make sure this info got out there. However, I don't know how much good it has done.....as of this writing, I am still listed as "not having my escape witnessed" despite all of my efforts to verify this (witness e-mails, personal e-mails, video footage that is timed and dated right on the screen and that is, according to the US postal service, in Clyde's possession, posting info on the cafe'.....you name it).

I posted out of nessessity, not to be social. And I will not discuss the little kid games that go on over there on this forum.....leave the dirty laundry in the hamper, where it belongs.

Hi Michael, I think I understand your posting at the magic cafe. You appear not to like them and think they are childish or do childish things but you would like to be acknowledged by the same people for your WEAR escape attempt and seek their approval and recognition.

Would I have got that right??
You could always phone Clyde, I am sure he'd be home but not on Sundays.

Ian, yes, I do think there are a lot of childish people and childish games going on over at the cafe', but I am not seeking the things you mentioned from those people. Let me explain......I said I would participate in the wear event back when I was a regular on the cafe'. I committed myself to this project and gave my word (so to speak) that I would do it. I simply want to be viewed as a man who keeps his word and doesn't just talk smack like some of the other people in this field. I want the record to show that I did what I said I would do.....it's that simple.

Clyde, I don't know what is going on with this black hole in cyber space that keeps eating your outgoing e-mails to me, but as of this writing, I have not received a single e-mail from you for quite some time. Thank you for posting here; letting me know that you have my info.

What I have been finding is that I have become somewhat spoiled, in that if I get one of those postmaster delivery status notifications, saying an email I sent has been either delayed, or even failed to get delivered to the recipient, I get all upset and wonder why this newfangled internet thing never seems to work half the time. I have had emails disappear and I wound up just phoning the person and talking directly, then a week or so later the email service is able to deliver to that person as if there was never a problem. Internet servers can slow down and stuff falls through the cracks.
I am curious about the various W.E.A.R events, and might even participate next year if it happens again.
